Board of Trustees
In reference to the branch code governance, the Board of Trustees monitors the Board of Directors and provides them with advice, both solicited and unsolicited. Monitoring and advice focus particularly on how the Board of Directors handles its affairs. The Board of Trustees meets with the Board of Directors three times a year. The agenda normally includes such matters as budgets, quarterly results, yearly accounts, management reports and as well as strategy and developments in the organisation of education. Furthermore, other current business is discussed which contribute towards determining the schools policies and continuity.
Industrial Advisory Board
The members of the Industrial Advisory Board represent the hospitality industry and advise the Board of Trustees regarding educational matters. Meetings are held twice yearly with the Board of Directors. The board was set up to ensure an optimal connection between education and (international) practice. In addition, the individual members of the Industrial Advisory Board who, incidentally, work for Hotelschool on a ad hoc basis, may also be approached by the Hotelschool for advice on specific disciplines.
