The Hotelschool has two Media centres, one in The Hague and one in Amsterdam, open to everyone who is involved in the course and to outside guests on appointment.

 

The specialized collection, comprising an impressive amount of information about the field of hospitality, consists of various (digitalized) sources: books, journals and specialists magazines, CD-ROM's, DVDs, as well as a wide collection of (research) reports written by students. The Media Centre's aim it to support both staff and students involved in the course by providing them (access) to the information they need.  

 

Together, the two Media Centres collections consists of more than 20.310 books, 150 magazines in various languages, 77 trade journals, 54 which are also available as a digital version, 6115 placement reports, 1570 final projects and 950 audiovisual materials such as CD-ROMS and DVD’s.

 

The Media centre in The Hague has 60 computers and 90 laptop connections linked to the student network. In Amsterdam the Media Centre has 18 computers and 19 laptop connections. Both centres also have equipment such as photocopiers, printers, video presenters, multi media PC’s and DVD players.
