Fine-dining restaurant Le Début is situated at the Brusselselaan in Scheveningen near The Hague, and is a wonderful place for having dinner with family and friends or a good place to have a dinner meeting. The beach and boulevard are just a 10- minute walk from the university building, so a visit to Le Début could be the pleasant start of an evening out in Scheveningen.

 

Le Début was opened to provide a real life practical situation for students of the school. Students following practical lessons work in the kitchen as well as in the restaurant, learning and gaining that will be a valuable asset to them when they leave to work in the industry. Students learn how to solve problems and use feedback for their theoretical modules, such as Training Management Skills (TMS).

 

First-year students following practical lessons perform basic skills, while the students in the second and third years fulfil the leadership role and actually manage the restaurant under the supervision of an instructor of the school.
