Beneficial for our students

Final projects are a real challenge for our students who will operate as junior consultants in teams of four. They will work on a real life management problem confronting the company and will give the company advice on how to approach the matter. The Final Project offers our students the opportunity to demonstrate that they acquired the knowledge, attitude and behavior needed to tackle actual management problems in a professional way. The topics that students deal with include, among others, commercial activities, staffing, organizational design and future strategies.

Advantageous to the industry 

Our Final Projects could be of help for companies and (non-commercial) organizations. The advice given is based on research, and the report will cover the research findings and conclusions, which will be translated into recommendations and plan how to implement these. Evaluations show that clients are satisfied with the results.

The students, who work in small teams of four, are asked to approach companies and organizations in order to find an assignment that fits the criteria of Hotelschool The Hague to offer our students as assignment.

During recent years our students have managed to acquire assignments from many well known companies, not only in The Netherlands but also abroad. Here are the name of a number of some of the companies: Golden Tulip Hotels Head Office, Inns and Resorts; Hyatt International regional Head Office; Schiphol Group; Center Parcs Head Office; Landal Green Parcs Head Office; hotels from the Accor Group and Starwood, and Catering Companies like Sodexho, to name a few.

Project Office and Contact

The Project Office co-ordinates the activities with regard to the final projects, guides the students through the first stages of preparation and aquisition of an assignment, in addition to fulfilling an administrative function.
