"..The Hotelschool The Hague meets my expectations in the sense that, of what I had hoped to cover in terms of subjects is most certainly viable. It has exceeded my expectations in the terms of the challenges that I have had over the years which have helped develop and prepare me as an individual for opportunities outside the school once I have completed the programme".
My biggest challenge
My favourite subject so far has been Managerial Finance. This subject was a challenge for me but definitely an enjoyable one. My biggest challenge has been group dynamics. With every block I went through I was faced with the new challenges as an individual in a group especially in terms of communication, feedback and motivation. The Training and Management Skills programme helped me to be able to use the tools taught in that programme in order overcome the personal challenges I was faced with in being able to work in a team which has become a new way of life.
Advice
My advice to new students is to first look into the programmes offered here at the school and see if the programmes match your expectations, as to what it is you would like to have learnt at the end of programme you follow. The diversity of subjects as well as the different nationalities at the school can be over welling and will be an unforgettable experience. Therefore it is important to keep an open mind and a set view of your overall goal whilst enjoying what the school and its surrounding have to offer. It has been interesting to meet people from different nationalities and be a part of the culture here at the Hotelschool The Hague which embraces diversity.
