Not everyone can work at Hotelschool The Hague; our selection criteria for the professional considering joining us are very rigorous, in order to enable us to realize our mission. We work with ambitious, talented people. We will expect you to be among the best in your field and to be prepared to continue to develop. You apply your knowledge and experience to education. Furthermore, you have teaching experience or a demonstrable affinity with the hospitality or service industries.

 

• You will have an open attitude toward other cultures and preferably will have either studied or worked abroad. The official languages of Hotelschool Den Haag are Dutch and English. Your spoken and written command of these languages, or in any case of English, is excellent.

• You are comfortable with the formal corporate culture of Hotelschool The Hague and the hospitality industry (no 9 to 5 mentality). You are at your best when working independently as part of a small team of professionals, which allows your qualities to manifest optimally.

• We consider a businesslike appearance and a service-oriented approach of great importance.

• You will be expected to endorse the mission, goals and code of conduct of Hotelschool The Hague and to commit yourself to them.

• The Hotelschool has two branches, one in The Hague and one in Amsterdam; successful applicants will be expected to perform their duties at both locations.
