Wolfgang Neumann

Chair of the board of trustees and a member of the remuneration committee of Hotelschool The Hague - First appointment: 1 January 2012. Current appointment: until 1 January 2023.

Until June 2017, Wolfgang was president and chief executive officer of The Rezidor Hotel Group, and he has been a member of the company’s board of directors since then. Rezidor is one of the most dynamic hotel companies in the EMEA region with a portfolio of 450+ hotels in 80+ countries.

Before joining Rezidor, he spent more than 20 years at Hilton, advancing from general manager to president of Hilton Europe and Africa.

Wolfgang is an industry veteran with vast international experience. He serves as advisor and is also chair of the International Tourism Partnership, bringing together the world’s most powerful hotel companies to take concerted action to improve sustainability.

He was born in Austria and educated at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management Klessheim (Salzburg). Wolfgang is fluent in English, German and French, and has good knowledge of Dutch.
