Angelique Lombarts

Dr. Angelique Lombarts is Professor in Hospitality, Happiness & Care at Hotelschool The Hague, primarily focusing on examining and improving both patient and employee journeys in the healthcare industry. Recently she added business ethics to her research activities in the hospitality industry at large. In addition to her professorship, she is also a supervisory board member of several organizations.

She obtained her Ph.D. in organizational anthropology looking into complex public private partnerships and governance structures (VU, the Social Sciences Faculty). Before she held a position as professor city marketing & leisure management at Inholland, University of applied sciences and several board positions in the hotel and conference industry.

Research Interests

Dr. Lombarts’ main interests of study include organizational behavior, change & innovation and business ethics/human rights. She focuses mainly on qualitative methodological research stemming from anthropological and sociological fields.
