Department

As a functional application specialist, you are responsible for building and managing our Student Information System Osiris. You ensure that there is a good connection between work processes and the application. You can prepare various management reports on request. In addition to functional application specialist Osiris, you will also become a Studielink coordinator and for various external projects related to the Osiris application.

General function description

  • Set up Osiris for the start of every new academic year;
  • Supporting colleagues when using the application;
  • First point of contact about the application;
  • Contact person for the supplier;
  • Investigate/ analyses (complex) issues with the application and take care of solving them;
  • Building reports in Osiris;
  • Perform functional application management (access management);
  • Makes an inventory of the wishes of users (colleagues);
  • Draft manuals and documents;
  • Coordinates test processes (new releases, new functionalities) and relevant project groups;
  • Studielink coordinator; who participates on behalf of HTH in all projects in the field of student registration
  • Handling second-line questions from the Service Desk.

Candidate profile

You have/are:

  • A completed MBO+/HBO education;
  • Interest in and affinity with the hospitality sector and education;
  • Knowledge in the field of functional management, and knowledge of Osiris is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of educational and administrative processes;
  • Solution-oriented;
  • Discreet, the GDPR is important in this position;
  • Good communication and social skills;
  • Accurate, efficient, and organizationally strong;
  • Assertive and stress-resistant;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
  • The language of instruction is English.

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 8 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between €2.860,73 and €3.691,26 gross per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Additional information
This position is for 0.8 FTE (four-day working week). The working days are in consultation.
The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant. The work location for this position is on our campus in The Hague, but occasionally it can occur that you work at our campus in Amsterdam. An English language proficiency test may be part of the selection procedure. Upon receiving an offer, a certificate of conduct (VOG) is required.
