Generating more interesting jobs

When trying to solve the problems of high employee turnover and staff shortages, it is important to look at it from the perspective of the employees themselves. We want to do this by looking at which tasks a job encompasses, and then identifying which tasks cause stress and exhaustion, and look for ways to automate or assist these tasks using robotics. By doing this, the more high level, more difficult tasks remain and the human employee becomes more of a manager of the robotics. This can lead to jobs that are less repetitive and more challenging, which will increase employee engagement. This future-of-work perspective is one that drives most robotic solutions developed at Robohouse and is also driving our research in this direction.
