Carlos García Sánchez
In my professional career, I have been focused on the hospitality industry, currently serving as the General Manager at The Social Hub in San Sebastián. Here, I led the opening of a 328-room hotel, incorporating coworking spaces, a restaurant, and event areas. Prior to this role, I held the same position at the Rotterdam location, managing a larger 484-room hotel with similar services. My expertise lies in managing large-scale operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and driving the financial performance of these properties.
Before my current position, I gained valuable experience at The Student Hotel, where I held various roles, including Business & Finance Associate and Junior Business Analyst. These roles allowed me to build a solid foundation in business operations, finance, and strategic planning. My career started with internships in market intelligence and business analysis, working with companies such as Irdeto and Deloitte España, where I honed my analytical and project management skills.
Additionally, I am an active member of Nova Talent, a global network of high achievers, which I have been involved in since 2021. Throughout my career, I have been driven by my passion for leadership, innovation, and creating memorable customer experiences. My goal is to continue contributing to the growth of dynamic organizations in the hospitality sector while constantly challenging myself to learn and evolve.
I am currently pursuing an Executive Management Program (Programa de Desarrollo Directivo) at IESE Business School, where I am expanding my leadership and strategic decision-making skills. Prior to this, I earned a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam, specializing in International Management.
