Caroline Glasbergen
Caroline is a social entrepreneur, author, speaker, and thought leader in authentic leadership, renowned for founding the New Female Leaders platform, which champions authentic, value-based new leadership for women. With a background in hospitality management, finance, and corporate marketing, Caroline previously established FITSHE, a sports nutrition brand for active women, later acquired by Friesland Campina in 2020.
In May 2019, driven by her conviction that female values in leadership are essential for global balance and change, Caroline initiated New Female Leaders, now a recognized social enterprise. Her mission centers on enhancing female leadership through authenticity, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5, aiming to foster diversity and inclusivity in decision-making and society at large.
In June 2021, Caroline published her first book, “New Female Leader,” a handbook on leadership based on personal values, underpinned by her 3C model: Clarity, Connection, and Community. Based on this unique model, New Female Leaders provides awareness, insights, and top-notch leadership programs for leaders from companies like Google, BAM, Kraft Heinz, and purpose-driven entrepreneurs. The platform also extends its impact through social media and its yearly New Leadership Festival.
The New Female Leaders podcast, launched in 2019, features over 200 interviews with notable figures such as Marlies Dekkers, Sigrid Kaag, and Prins Constantijn. The podcast trended for many weeks on Spotify NL. Caroline has generated media coverage in multiple online and offline outlets, including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, JAN, Marie Claire, GRAZIA, Trouw, and Volkskrant.
