

Gitta Brückmann
Gitta Brückmann brings more than 40 years of hospitality experience which commenced in Berlin at the Bristol Hotel Kempinski Berlin. The academic foundation is complemented by a robust career, where she has been fortunate to grow within Marriott International, a global leader in hospitality.
Her journey with Marriott International started in 1986 at the Boston Marriott Newton Hotel as Food & Beverage Management trainee. Gitta held various on-property operational roles at Marriott properties in Vienna, Hamburg, Warsaw, and Frankfurt and served as General Manager at the Munich Marriott Hotel. From 1997 onwards Gitta worked in several above property roles such as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Area Vice President for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Area Vice President for Western Europe. Gitta is known as a passionate hotelier with vast experience in senior leadership positions, a motivational leader, with a strong track record both, commercially and operationally.
Today Gitta serves as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as Overseeing Government Affairs for Europe. This role allows her to leverage the strategic insight to align Marriott’s operations with sustainability goals, creating long-term value for both the company and the communities we serve.
