Jonathan Worsley
I graduated from Western University with a BA in 1983, laying the foundation for a career that has seen me become a leader in the hospitality, real estate, and event management sectors. My education continued beyond the classroom, as I gained invaluable experience at Trinity College School, where I developed the discipline and drive that have defined my professional journey.
I am the Chairman and CEO of The Bench, a company I co-founded in 2001. Over the last two decades, I have had the privilege of shaping the hospitality and events industries by creating and leading several global conferences such as the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) and the Future Hospitality Summit. These initiatives have helped drive innovation and collaboration across multiple sectors, including hospitality investment, aviation, and F&B.
Throughout my career, I have expanded my focus to include strategic advisory roles. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, supporting sustainable practices across a global platform. Additionally, I am a board member for startups such as FreshOnTable, which promotes sustainability in food production, and ENVI Lodges, a hospitality company emphasizing responsible tourism.
My work with charitable initiatives is also a significant aspect of my career. I am a trustee of Future Talent, an organization that supports young, gifted musicians from challenging backgrounds. I believe that empowering young talent, fostering innovation, and supporting sustainable growth are critical to shaping the future of our industries.
