Kurhaus
The Kurhaus opened in 1885; the five-star Kurhaus is situated on Holland's North seaside. Originally constructed as a lavish spa and concert hall, it soon emerged as an icon of sophistication. Situated on the coast of Scheveningen, The Kurhaus was built by German architects Johann Friedrich Henkenhaf and Friedrich Ebert in an excellent Neo-Renaissance style with a beautiful domed roof & lavish interiors.
The Kurhaus is one of the grand old hotels in Holland and was a hot spot for dignitaries, artists, and celebrities throughout its history. The hotel concert hall is another buzz hub, and artists like the Rolling Stones and Edith Piaf have played here, furthering its own cultural importance.
The real gem of the Kurhaus is that it mixes a sense of old-world ambiance with beachside glamour. Situated on the bank of the North Sea, this beach hotel inspires several British and Scottish vacationers with great views. The Kurhaus is home to grand ballrooms adorned with high ceilings and glamour that transports visitors back in time.
