Marieke de Witte
I graduated from Hotelschool The Hague in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management. My time there gave me a solid foundation in the hospitality industry, and it fuelled my passion for customer service, sales, and leadership.
In my career, I have held diverse roles that allowed me to grow as a consultant, coach, and trainer. My professional journey started in the hospitality sector, where I worked as a Sales Executive and later became the Sales Manager at NH Atlanta Rotterdam and NH Hoteles. I was responsible for managing accounts and driving sales across different regions.
I later joined PPHE Hotel Group as the Human Resources Manager for the Benelux region, where I led teams and helped enhance the HR strategy across multiple hotels. After almost six years, I transitioned into consulting and training.
In 2014, I co-founded Laszlo & De Witte, where I help organizations excel in sales and customer management. Our goal is to prepare companies for the future by crafting customer-focused strategies. At the same time, I launched La Blanca Training & Consultancy, focusing on improving team performance in sales, customer care, and HR.
Currently, I also volunteer at CBB, where I record audiobooks for individuals with reading difficulties. My work as a voice-over artist has been a unique and rewarding experience, allowing me to combine my love for storytelling with a meaningful cause.
