Rogier Braakman
Rogier Braakman is a serial hospitality entrepreneur, and former CEO of three hotel collections.
After finishing Hotelschool The Hague, Rogier embarked on a hospitality journey with The Ritz-Carlton and Hilton, paving his way through housekeeping, procurement, and food & beverages. Before co-founding Sandton Hotels in 2004, Rogier oversaw all retail and F&B activities within Landal GreenParks.
Growing Sandton Hotels to over 15 venues by 2011, Rogier and his business partner co-founded a new hotel brand: Pillows Hotels. Pillows had one simple aim: be number one in town on review sites. To this day, this collection of luxury boutique hotels has lived up to this promise.
In 2018, he left the hotel business to co-found NoCeiling; an investment vehicle for impact- and hospitality tech companies. This was followed suit by a new hospitality adventure: becoming the CEO of Penta Hotels. In the meantime, he has been working with some industry colleagues on launching a new immersive hospitality education platform with focus on the less educated: hotel.school.
2024 marked the beginning of another new era in Rogier’s career. As the CEO at Green.DNA, he is on a journey to shake up the office world with the introduction of Mr. Green Offices, and The NET office technologies. This scale-up has in-house developed technology that enables companies to share offices in an unprecedented way, thus offering a sustainable solution to the massive overcapacity of office spaces worldwide.
