Simone Williams
Simone Williams is a Marketing & Innovation Lecturer and has spent the last 12.5 years inspiring potential ‘Hospitality Icons’, by designing and delivering educational experiences for the students of Hotelschool The Hague in both the Bachelor and the Masters.
Currently in the Future of Food (minor in Year 4), she spars with students on what keeps the ‘F&B industry awake at night’, preparing the next generation of hospitality leaders for the ‘business of food and beverage’. Simone specifically lectures on food & power, the role of big food, science and government, and the influence of food on people and planet.
With a Masters in Responsible Management from Steinbeis University Berlin, Simone is a member of The SDG Office of Hotelschool The Hague, that is focused on redefining Hospitality, striving for an hospitality business model that can create a better world, one where we ‘protect, respect and remedy the natural and social capital of which it depends’. Working with the F&B department, she has championed for campus gardens, and initiatives like the Future We Want, where students in the minors are introduced to volunteering in the local community.
In the master’s programme, she lectures in Culture and Innovation, bringing her experience with design thinking, business models and change management to the classroom. Simone previously held international branding and marketing communication positions in the retail and telecommunications industry before joining Hotelschool.
