Trolley
The trolley is an integral piece of equipment that has a long history and is still important in any given hotel. The trolley was first rolled out in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to carry luggage and food and quickly became essential within large hotels to increase efficiency.
In new hotels, construction became more elegant; therefore, they required even further service and convenience. The trolley increased staff productivity, enabling them to multitask by carrying guests' luggage. These early trolleys were typically wooden or metal and had ornate designs that corresponded visually with the luxurious ambiance of upscale hotels. The hotel trolley has adapted as years have passed by to efficiently cater to the ever-changing needs of the hospitality industry.
