International Officer Hotelschool The Hague (Erasmus+ Coordination)

Department

The newly to be formed department “Student Services” consists of several teams; admissions & student affairs, service desk, planning and timetabling office, student counsellors and placement office. Student Services provides a range of support services that aim to; look after student health and wellbeing, enhance students' opportunities for success and contribute positively to the quality of the student experience, progression and retention. The department provides a full range of student administration services and a one-stop-shop for general student-related enquiries.

Tasks and responsibilities of the International Officer

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Liaising with the National Agency of Erasmus+ (focus on student exchange and staff mobility Key Action 1)
  • Informing the organization about regulation changes from Erasmus+ and (advising) adjusting internal procedures to match Erasmus+ requirement
  • Keeping administration concerning Erasmus+ exchange program in good order (in collaboration with the Placement Office who coordinate the student placements)
  • Coordinating and arranging exchanges of students and staff going on exchange options (Key Action 1)
  • Preparing and assisting in informing the organization about the program to create awareness
  • (Assist) in developing procedures and rules for students and staff from HTH
  • Assisting/preparing in accreditations and audits from Erasmus+
  • Contribute to setting up collaborations with exchange and other academic partners in collaboration with the Education and Research Support department (Key Action 2)

Candidate profile:

You are/have

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • You are familiar with the Erasmus+ programme Key Action 1 rules & regulations, experience with Key Action 2 is desired
  • You are a proficient user of automated systems (such as the Beneficiary Module)
  • You are proficient in processing confidential data
  • You are familiar with MSOffice (in particular Word and Excel(
  • You speak and write both English and Dutch at an advanced level (C1)
  • You are able to structure and set priorities and are able to uphold quality
  • You understand the impact of (changing) policies and regulations on implementation
  • You are aware of the importance of financial accountability

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 9 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 3.018,49 and € 4.158,87. gross per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant.

The work location for this position can be either our Campus in Amsterdam and/ or Campus The Hague.
