Students gain foundational knowledge of technological disruptions and their applications in hotel operations and guest experiences, while also discussing strategies for integrating innovations into the industry.
Sustainable Leadership in the Hotel Ecosystem (Part 1 of 2) (2 EC)
This course emphasises leadership skills required for managing sustainability and transformation within the hotel ecosystem, focusing on external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and regulators.
Design-Oriented Research (Part 1 of 3) (1 EC)
This course integrates research methodology principles, guiding students in developing their final thesis proposal and refining research questions. With a focus on Design-Based Research, it serves as a key building block toward the final thesis at the end of the programme.
Personal Leadership (Part 1 of 3) (1 EC):
This course spans three blocks, enhancing leadership and decision-making in dynamic environments. The first part focuses on developing personal leadership skills, such as self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Students will explore the factors and biases influencing managerial decisions to strengthen their ability to lead effectively in complex situations.
