Partnerships

Hotelschool The Hague, established in 1929, is one of the oldest hotel management schools in the world. Since it was founded, the hotel school has built an excellent reputation and works closely with the business community. We would like to further intensify cooperation, because we believe that cooperation makes us strong.

We offer a number of options for hospitality partnerships with companies and organisations that share our passion for hospitality and would like to be associated with Hotelschool The Hague. Options include tailor-made partnership packages and strategic partnerships.

Here’s how it works: whether you are an individual, company or institution, you can choose from several partnerships options. Our ‘experienced partners’ are involved in re-establishing and/or renovating either of our Skotels (our training and study hotels). We also have professional partnerships with our suppliers. And if what you’re looking for is form of cooperation tailored to your needs, then you can opt to become a Strategic Partner.

Working with strategic partners serves three purposes for the school: first, to acquire the (financial) means to make (new) initiatives possible. Second, to exchange knowledge. And third, to strengthen the bond between industry and education, for example through guest lectures, projects, placements, case studies, research, a seat on the Industrial Advisory Board and participation in expert teams, to name but a few examples.

Placement opportunities

Our placement office collaborates closely with different industry partners in order to offer internships to our students. As a registered placement company you can publish or adjust vacancies on our job portal.

Students of Hotelschool The Hague, who are well-known for their hands-on mentality, strong social skills and pragmatic attitude, are keen on placements with many challenges and responsibilities. In other words, our students are eager to learn to become the managers of the future.

Our bachelor’s programme gives students the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad through two different internships. In Year 2, the student will complete an internship at operational level for at least 19 weeks. The second internship will take place at the end of their Bachelor (LYCar) placement.
