Paul Stevens

Paul Stevens is the Chief Operating Officer, Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, for the Premium, Midscale and Economy division of Accor. While overseeing over two hundred hotels, across eleven brands with key openings in the pipeline in some of the most loved cities; from Istanbul to Dubai and Makkah to Kinshasa, Paul's objective is to grow the footprint, build and maintain relationships with business partners, and execute the operational and commercial strategies in the region.

The human element in the industry has always fascinated him, and he takes pride in working with Accor's teams on the ground representing local talents, diverse cultures, and backgrounds.

Today, he brings a 30-year track proven record of delivering operational and financial performance, working with iconic brands such as Sofitel Hotels & Resorts in Fiji, the Bezzina Property Group and Novotel Hotels & Resorts in Australia.

Climbing the Accor ladder through multiple progressions, he first joined Accor, in 1997 as a General Manager, returned in 2007 to join the team in Thailand as lead for Hotel Operations, followed by his appointment as VPO for Midscale and Economy brands Upper Southeast Asia. Prior to assuming the responsibilities of COO, Paul held the position of CEO for Accor Plus, managing Accor’s subscription loyalty program in Asia Pacific.
