Evaluation
Hotelschool The Hague aims to be accessible to everyone, at our campuses and online.
For our website that means complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA.
This applies to all pages under the domain https://www.hotelschool.nl.
In order to reach this goal we had an accessibility evaluation performed on our website. This was done according to WCAG-EM method, which is the European standard for measuring website accessibility.
On July 31 2024 the website was found the comply with all 55 guidelines. Find the results of the latest evaluation here
Latest accessibility improvements
These are some but not all of our latest developments.
- Improve form accessibility to support keyboard controls better.
- Overal improvements to the HTML structure to improve legibility for screen readers.
- Updated headings and labels to more clearly describe the purpose.
- Allow autoplaying videos to be paused.
- Updated the focus indicator to make keyboard navigation easier.
Remaining accessible
We are aware that remaining accessible is an ongoing task. For that reason we educate our content editors on digital accessibility.
In order to keep improving the accessibility of this website we perform new audits at least once every 2 years.
