Launching Your Career (LYCar): a great start
The graduation phase of the Hotelschool The Hague degree programme has been designed to bridge the gap between the students’ education and their future career. The programme is called Launching Your Career – LYCAR. In this programme, students have the possibility to work on a different projects within a time span of 30 weeks.
The student needs to showcase bachelor-level thinking while focusing on developing Intercultural Hospitality Leadership by collaborating with various stakeholders.
LYCar can be either an internship, a company research project, or a combination of both.
What does this mean for you?
Our students can contribute to your business, in junior management or junior staff positions. Students graduate with both a management placement and a research project.
The placement can take place within a hospitality (related) company, a hospitality related department or the student can prepare a hospitality related product, experience or product for your company.
The company project (research) can be executed while the student is doing the placement at your company or the student could only do the research project or the placement within your company. It would be great if the student gets the opportunity to also work on their thesis during their internship.
