The Hague, 7 October 2021

Today, Keuzegids HBO 2022 announced the results of their annual survey. Once again, Hotelschool The Hague proves to be the best public Hospitality Management School in the Netherlands. With the Amsterdam campus receiving the score of 83/100, and The Hague campus 80/100, Hotelschool The Hague is positioned at the top of the list.

Hotelschool The Hague is pleased with the ranking and attributes it to the flexibility of its entire community. A community that has proven itself during the difficult and intense period of the past 18 months. The school would like to thank its students for participating in this survey. Hotelschool The Hague’s mission is to be a leading educational institute that develops students into sought after hospitality graduates.

‘Excellent in its own field’
Hotelschool The Hague has also been included in the ranking for the best private hotel management schools for the first time, which was a pleasant surprise. According to Keuzegids, Hotelschool The Hague operates within one discipline, and the designation 'small-scale and intensive education' applies to the course. This allows Hotelschool The Hague to use the quality seal 'excellent in its own field', of which the school is very proud of.

Regine von Stieglitz, President of the Board of Directors: "The Board is extremely proud that we have been voted best public hospitality management school in The Netherlands for the eighth year in a row. Especially in these challenging times, this recognition feels like a real reward for our hard work and is entirely the result of the efforts and support of our dedicated colleagues and constant performance of all students.”

In the Keuzegids 2022, Hotelschool The Hague receives very positive assessments about the preparation for a future career. Various business cases and international internships are included in the bachelor programme of the school. Direct collaboration with industry partners and alumni give the students a unique profile and prepares them for a future career in the hospitality industry. The school delivers a unique combination of theory, practice and research in its educational programmes. This combination aims to stimulate students to develop three quotients – IQ, EQ and AQ; foundational knowledge, in-depth understanding of hospitality and critical thinking (IQ); highly developed personal and intercultural skills (EQ), and resilience (AQ).

Andra Iamandi, Student: “For me, choosing Hotelschool The Hague was the best academic choice and fits perfectly within my career plans. I am developing essential management skills that I can use during my professional career. The combination of theory, practice and research interests me and the way that hospitality is spread throughout the programme keeps amazing me.”
