Positive results of the National Student Survey 2021 for Hotelschool The Hague
It is our pleasure to share the positive results of the National Student Survey 2021 (NSE), which graded our Bachelor programme with 3,89/5 and our MBA programme with 4,75/5. The results of the NSE are used for informing prospective students on higher education course programmes and for improving the quality of higher education.
First of all, we would like to thank our students for participating in this survey. Our mission is to be a leading educational community that develops students into sought after hospitality graduates. Our students benefit from everything we do. We appreciate your collaboration and honest opinion.
HTH scores 'significantly above benchmark'
The results indicate how satisfied students are about their education. We are delighted to see that Hotelschool The Hague scores significantly above benchmark on most aspects, both for the Bachelor programme and the MBA.
The results show that, despite challenging times, Hotelschool The Hague students are very satisfied about lecturers and their commitment, guidance, and counselling. For example, HTH scores 3.9 out of 5.0 on the statement: ‘Lecturers are substantive experts.’
HTH students also rank the level of focus on international subjects in the course programme and the opportunities the programme offers for an internship abroad ‘very well’. Discover more facts and figures HERE.
Valuable insights
Besides this sincere feeling of achievement, we also received valuable insights from our students on points Hotelschool The Hague has yet to improve. These points of improvement are very important to take into consideration when moving forward.
Ranking
The NSE survey results go along with the expert opinions of the accreditation organisation NVAO, to the overall rankings in the ‘Keuzegids 2022’. The ‘Keuzegids’ is a well-known, independent Dutch information guide, which evaluates student satisfaction rates of different universities of applied sciences throughout The Netherlands. It will be published in October this year. Hotelschool The Hagae was voted ‘Best Hotelschool in The Netherlands’ for the past seven years in a row.
