EDEN
EDUCATE | DELIGHT | EXPLORE | NOURISH
If you have walked across campus recently, you may have noticed something new taking shape: raised beds, young plants, fruit trees, composting areas, and the early outlines of a garden that is slowly transforming our grounds. This is EDEN, Hotelschool The Hague’s new vegetable garden initiative rooted in learning, sustainability, and community, at both Campus The Hague and Campus Amsterdam.
It’s a living, growing classroom that brings together the Real-Life Learning department and the SDG Office and it's designed to provide immersive learning opportunities, inspire healthier eating, and strengthen our connection with nature. EDEN invites students and colleagues to explore what sustainable food production looks like, right here on campus.
As the gardens continue to grow, so will opportunities for the HTH community to get involved, from planting days and volunteer sessions to workshops, tastings, and student-led sustainability initiatives.
EDEN is more than a garden. It’s a shared effort to cultivate knowledge, curiosity, and a healthier, more sustainable future for hospitality.
