Digital technologies can be the basis for new ways of delivering meaningful teaching and learning experiences. Therefore, Hotelschool The Hague’s research team has partnered with international Hospitality Universities to prepare students and professionals for a changing profession through immersive real-life learning experiences. In addition to in-company research and learning (options that are currently scarcely available), the project partners seek to offer these experiences in versatile, virtual contexts for real-life learning, using AR/VR enabled learning spaces.
Moreover, Hotelschool The Hague is developing digital learning formats to spur collaboration between international educational institutions. Through the application of digital learning technologies, these COIL formats (collaborative online interactive learning) bring students and educators together across cultures to learn, discuss and collaborate.
