The EuroCHRIE conference 2025 on Hospitality & Tourism Innovation: Exploring Inspiration Across Industry Lines will focus on the pivotal role of innovation in advancing the hospitality and tourism sectors amidst a rapidly evolving and competitive landscape.
This event will address critical challenges such as balancing travel growth with sustainability, integrating digitistion with human interaction, and managing labor shortages. By drawing inspiration from both within and outside the industry, the conference aims to explore innovative solutions that can transform professional practices, business models, and educational approaches in hospitality and tourism.
Participants will delve into market and concept innovations tailored to the evolving needs of business travelers, digital nomads, and leisure travellers. The conference will also tackle ethical considerations, regulatory impacts, and sustainability concerns, emphasising the need for service redesign. Additionally, the future influence of AI and other technological advancements on the industry will be a key topic. By fostering a collaborative environment, the conference seeks to generate practical insights and inspire further academic research, positioning hospitality and tourism education as a cornerstone of innovation.
The conference will welcome contributions on the following topics, although not limited to these:
Paper Guidelines
All papers should meet the following guidelines:
- Maximum 3,000 words excluding the title, abstract and references
- Abstract maximum of 150 words and a maximum of five keywords
- Identify whether the paper is Theoretical / Empirical
- Indication of which of the 8 tracks the paper fits into
- Be written in English (UK or US spelling) and be free from grammatical and spelling errors
- Be prepared in MS Word
- At least one author of accepted conference papers is expected to make a 20-minute presentation at the EuroCHRIE Conference. Please note that the conference will not include any online sessions or presentations.
