Lem van Eupen

van Eupen is serving as a member of Hotelschool The Hague’s Board of Trustees, as well as Chair of the Education and Research Committee.

Van Eupen is a highly experienced professional with a distinguished career in education, international cooperation, and media. She previously served as a member of the Management Board and Manager Europe for Nuffic, the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education, where she also held the role of Director of the National Agency Erasmus+.

Her extensive leadership background includes serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Journalism at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and as the Deputy Director General of Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW Media). Beyond her executive roles, van Eupen holds several supervisory positions, including memberships on the supervisory boards of SIVON (ICT cooperation for schools) and Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht, as well as serving as Chairperson of the Supervisory Board for the Dutch Fund for In-depth Journalism. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology from Radboud University.
