Sustainability at HTH
Hotelschool The Hague is a business school set in the context of hospitality that embraces the
principles of responsible management. As a university of applied science, Hotelschool The Hague
understands its important role as an education and research institution and hospitality provider to
contribute to the realisation of the UN SDGs.
It is in this role where we have great responsibility, where we are trusted with the education of the next generation of hospitality leaders, who must have the desire to create a positive change in society; protect, respect, and remedy the natural and social capital of which our industry depends; and who will strive for exciting new business models that will show genuine sincerity and welfare for all. As a single sector school, we are in a unique position to dedicate our campus, curriculum, research projects and real-world hospitality outlets to the pursuit of creating, Hospitality for a better world.

That means embedding the Sustainable Development Goals into everything we do, from our curriculum to our operations, and from our research to our industry partnerships. Sustainability is not a separate project; it is part of the DNA of Hotelschool The Hague."
